Breeding Background

• The Critical Skunk V originated from @hempfarmerclay.

• From 40 females, we selected two of the sweetest and frostiest to make F2 feminized seeds.

• As a result, these F2s improved resin production, bud density, and even reached 8% THCV in a 1:1 ratio.

Consequently, this project stands out among the 1:1 African Landrace crosses. Moreover, full credit goes to Clay for the original Critical Skunk x African cross.

Selection & Pollination

• We selected three top F2 females.

• Each was pollinated with the Double Durban 1:1 donor.

• The results were highly promising:

  • One keeper at 8% THCV in a 1:1 ratio

  • Two others testing at 4:1–5:1 THC:THCV

Therefore, growers can expect a wide variety of chemotypes, all with excellent resin production.
